Does TheraJoint+ contain any preservatives, artificial colours or flavours?

Unlike many other health products, 13 Seeds TheraJoint+ does not contain any added colours, flavours, or preservatives. 

On the bottle, it says “contains sulphites,” aren't those bad for us?

Our TheraJoint+ contains trace amounts of maltodextrin (a type of carbohydrate) as part of the production process. Maltodextrin has 10mg/kg of sulphites maximum, meaning that the sulphite amount found in our capsules is less than 0.001% that could be considered negligible, therefore should be of no concern. We are still required by law to state this on the label. If you have a sulphite allergy, we recommend that you consult your healthcare professional.

Is it safe to take TheraJoint+ long term?

Turmeric is likely safe when used short-term. Turmeric products that provide up to 8g of curcumin daily seem to be safe when used for up to 2 months, Also, taking up to 3g of turmeric daily seems to be safe when used for up to 3 months. If symptoms persist, please speak to your health care professional.

I don't like the taste of turmeric, what does TheraJoint+ taste like?

TheraJoint+ is basically tasteless as it’s stored in a capsule, so even if you don't like the taste of turmeric, you can still reap the health benefits.

Is TheraJoint+ vegan-friendly?

TheraJoint+ is 100% vegan-friendly. There is no gelatin or any other animal-sourced material in this product. It’s also safe for vegetarians, those with diabetes and anyone following a paleo or ketogenic diet.

Where do you source your ingredients and where is TheraJoint+ manufactured?

We source our turmeric root from India in order to get the best quality. The capsules are then manufactured in Australia and are TGA-approved to ensure the highest quality and safe product. All 13 Seeds products are manufactured in Australia.

I have difficulty swallowing capsules, are these difficult to ingest?

TheraJoint+ is 22mm in length, which is typically a lot smaller than other capsules. If you can’t swallow them, you can open the capsule and mix the contents with a spoonful of yoghurt to consume. 


I've read that lead is dangerous for our health. Does TheraJoint+ contain lead?

Yes, lead can be toxic in high amounts, however, it appears in many foods due to its presence in the environment, including many common fruits and vegetables. The Therapeutic Goods Administration of Australia (TGA) ensures that the lead content must be less than 5ppm (parts per million) per capsule to be considered safe, which our TheraJoint+ is well below, so there’s no need to be concerned.

Is there an independent lab that checks your turmeric 1500 =-USP verified or the equivalent?

Yes, our TheraJoint+ is manufactured with the highest quality standards in a 3rd party certified Australian Lab.

Is TheraJoint+ gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, GM-free?

Yes, yes, yes, and yes!

Does theraJoint+ contain 95% curcuminoids and is it comparable to BCM-95?

Our Organic Turmeric also has a 95% curcumin concentration, equivalent to BCM-95, making TheraJoint+ one of the highest quality turmeric supplements on the market.

Will TheraJoint+ assist with weight loss?

TheraJoint+ is a potent anti-inflammatory supplement, however is not designed as a weight loss product. Consult with your healthcare providerl. 

Does TheraJoint contain xylitol?

TheraJoint+ does not contain any xylitol.

Does TheraJoint+ contain iodine?

TheraJoint+ does not have any added iodine. However, we do not test for iodine.

Are dry capsules or soft gel capsules better?

That all depends on the type of product and what it's used for. The TheraJoint+ formulation is the most stable in dry capsule form, so that’s what we chose. 

Does TheraJoint+ contain oxalates?

Oxalates—also known as oxalic acid—are a naturally-occurring compound in plants. These plant-based oxalates are consumed through our diet as well as produced as waste by our bodies. We do not test for oxalates. If you're concerned, consult with your healthcare professional.

Does this have turmerones?

Currently, we do not test for turmerones.

What's the best way to take TheraJoint+?

We recommend taking one capsule daily, with or immediately after food. If symptoms persist consult with your healthcare professional.

Is this product manufactured using GMP practices?

Yes, TheraJoint adopts GMP practices to ensure the safest and highest quality product.

How long does TheraJoint+ take to start seeing results?

If pain is associated with inflammation, we expect that you should start seeing results within 8-12 weeks. If symptoms persist, speak to your healthcare provider.

Does TheraJoint+ contain piperine (black pepper extract)?

TheraJoint+ contains Black pepper (Piper Nigrum) at a 54 x extract concentration. The black pepper we use has a minimum of 95% Piperine content.

Does Therajoint+ contain gelatin?

While many capsules are made from gelatin, TheraJoint+ capsules are made from a plant-based, vegan alternative.

Does TheraJoint+ help with arthritis pain?

TheraJoint+ contains high amounts of the natural anti-inflammatory compound curcumin, the active component of turmeric. TheraJoint+ is TGA-approved to relieve symptoms of mild arthritis and joint pain.

Does TheraJoint+ cause digestive issues?

Turmeric and curcumin seem to be generally well-tolerated for most people and side effects are uncommon. If you experience gastrointestinal symptoms including constipation, stomach pain, diarrhoea, acid reflux, nausea, vomiting, and yellow stools consult with your qualified healthcare professional.


Can TheraJoint+ help with foot pain?

Turmeric may help to alleviate foot pain. A review of clinical research by Thorne Research showed that curcumin has significant anti-inflammatory properties that can improve injuries like muscle strain, sprains, and plantar fasciitis. However, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional before trying to treat foot conditions on your own.

Is TheraJoint+ safe to take if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

TheraJoint+ should be avoided if you are pregnant or breastfeeding due to its higher dose of turmeric.

Is TheraJoint+ safe for children and teenagers?

When used as recommended, turmeric supplements are generally regarded as safe for children and teenagers. However, do not give your child or teenager TheraJoint+ without first consulting with a qualified health professional.

Does Therajoint need to be refrigerated?

TheraJoint+ is shelf stable and doesn’t need to be refrigerated. 

How long can you leave a bottle open?

TheraJoint+ has a 3 year expiry from the date of manufacture.  If stored correctly, your bottle of TheraJoint+ will last until the expiration date printed on the bottle. 

Are your products safe for pets?

Studies have not been done to support the health benefits of turmeric in pets. Speak to your vet before feeding your pet turmeric or TheraJoint+.
